What to Expect
Clinics are limited to 8–12 participants to allow for direct coaching and individual attention. Each day begins with a morning meeting without horses, where Jake discusses the methods, exercises, and goals for the day and answers any participant questions. Groundwork sessions are held first each morning, followed by riding sessions in the afternoon.
Every clinic is unique, and the schedule, exercises, and topics covered may be adjusted to best meet the needs of the horses and riders in attendance.
MEET YOUR CLINICIAN
Jacob Gelinas
Jake Gelinas is a natural horsemanship trainer dedicated to helping horses and riders build lasting partnerships through trust, communication, and understanding. His teaching style is practical, approachable, and focused on creating real results.
Jake has studied and worked alongside some of the industry's most respected horsemen, including Richard Winters and Ryan Rose. Through these experiences, he has developed a well-rounded approach rooted in strong fundamentals and effective horsemanship.
His clinics focus on building a solid foundation from the ground up, helping riders improve communication, confidence, and feel with their horses. Jake believes that a strong foundation can take a horse and rider in any direction they choose.
Whether your goals are in the show pen, on the ranch, on the trail, or simply creating a better relationship with your horse, Jake provides practical tools and concepts that riders can continue to build on long after the clinic is over.
